Shane Daniel Scott is an NYC-based writer/director and creative producer from the great state of Colorado.

When he’s not trying to make snobby art-house films about identity, globalization, or the real and imagined ghosts that haunt us, he’s usually walking his dog.

Most recently, Shane’s worked in advertising as a senior post-producer for beauty, retail, and B2B clients, and in a past life taught film production and film studies in Philadelphia.

In 2025, he co-founded the production company Kitchen Couch Pictures with Chien-Yu Wang & Maxwell DiPaolo.

Shane holds an MFA in Film and Media Arts and lives in the world’s borough, with his wife, (aforementioned) Goldendoodle Ellis, kitty Emilia, and 2 million other wonderful strangers.
